The Quarry Operative will assist in extracting and processing materials, operate machinery, perform maintenance, and ensure safety and compliance in a busy quarry environment.

Operate the site weighbridge to accurately record vehicle weights and issue tickets; greet and induct drivers; enforce safety and site rules; manage deliveries, liaise with sales/distribution, handle customer enquiries and report faults.

Handle inbound sales enquiries, answer phones, record correspondence, prepare quotations, process order acknowledgements, manage cash sales administration, generate weekly sales reports, identify upsell opportunities and customer trends, and occasionally cover other departments.
