Design and operate distributed execution systems for customer workflows. Build scalable Python backend services on AWS, contribute to AI initiatives including MCP servers and agentic copilots, and own architecture, deployment, monitoring, and incident response. The Senior Backend Engineer will develop backend services in Python on AWS, tackle performance challenges, and make key architectural decisions while mentoring team members and collaborating with product and design.

Own and automate continuous compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, customer security reviews), run Vanta end-to-end, manage access and vendor risk reviews, respond to customer security questionnaires and DPAs, define compliance KPIs, and partner with Security, Engineering, Product, and Legal to close policy-to-control gaps.
