Responsibilities include planning audits, evaluating laws, regulations, and controls, testing effectiveness, identifying root causes, reporting findings, tracking remediation, supporting annual risk assessments, and communicating results to management and risk forums. The role partners with Finance, Compliance, Product, IT, Risk, and Legal teams while monitoring evolving regulatory requirements.

Provide strategic employment law advice across six EMEA jurisdictions, advising HR and business leaders on employee relations, restructurings, works councils, trade unions, investigations, litigation, privacy, mobility, and workplace technology. Draft and negotiate employment-related agreements and policies, support regulatory proceedings, manage external counsel, monitor legal developments, and deliver employment law training.

Deliver accurate, timely payroll across multiple European countries and entities. Coordinate with outsourced payroll vendors, HR, benefits and stock teams, authorities, and auditors. Review and improve payroll processes, support payroll-related projects, resolve employee queries, and streamline operations. The role requires strong knowledge of EMEA payroll regulations, benefits, equity, shadow and hypothetical tax, analytical abilities, organization, communication, and effective prioritization in a high-volume environment.

Perform risk-based operational audits across eBay, conduct control and efficiency testing, identify control weaknesses and process gaps, draft findings and audit reports, track remediation and validate closures, and improve audit processes and use of data analytics to increase audit value.
