The Sales Manager at General Insurance is responsible for identifying potential producers, recruiting, training, retaining, driving, and developing them towards higher productivity. They support the Branch Manager/Head of Sales in achieving set plans and goals.
Responsible for day-to-day financial operations and reporting tasks, including month-end GL closing, regulatory and regional reporting, and financial analysis. Requires Bachelor's degree in Finance & Accounting, relevant working experience, and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Manage and maximize business opportunities from existing sponsored accounts for all consumer products across all distribution channels. Develop and execute partner sales/marketing plans to maximize revenue generation. Represent AIG in the market to extend reach and create awareness on direct marketing opportunities. Prepare annual budgets and financial performance targets for sponsors. Communicate with stakeholders and liaise for campaign implementation and ongoing performance. Tertiary education with minimum 2/3 years of working experience required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Assist in preparing financial reports, supporting external audits, and driving performance improvement in financial operations and reporting processes within an insurance organization.
Design, construct, and manage scalable data architectures aligned with the organization's strategy. Evaluate feasibility, provide recommendations, collaborate with governance teams, offer expert consultation, and continuously enhance data architecture artifacts. Collaborate with business units and implement data models to meet objectives.
Monitoring trade confirmations, cash management, strategic planning, leadership, reconciliation, system maintenance, policy adherence, mentorship.
Responsible for daily treasury operations including trade blotters, trade confirmations, cash management, reconciliation, and maintaining relationships with banking partners. Requires strong communication, analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Kyriba.
