Design, build, and maintain high-performance Android solutions for Toast POS, ship end-to-end features, collaborate with UX/PM/QA, integrate backend services, and iterate using AI-assisted tools to improve guest engagement in restaurants.

Lead and build an AI-native engineering OS and developer experience: design model access, agent orchestration, prompt/spec frameworks, CI/CD integration, governance, cost optimization, and developer portals. Architect scalable, model-agnostic platforms, drive org-wide adoption, and manage a team of AI platform and developer-experience engineers while operating within compliance constraints (PCI, SOX).

Lead architecture and implementation of AI agents and infrastructure for the Team domain. Define scalable, secure designs, partner with engineering and product, write code and prototypes, resolve performance bottlenecks, establish agent/ spec-driven patterns, and mentor engineers to deliver mission-critical SaaS systems.

Build and lead AI platform infrastructure including LLM proxy, key management, observability, MCP services, autonomous agents and plugin marketplace. Architect, deliver, and evangelize agentic tooling, mentor engineers, and partner with product teams to expand AI foundations across the company.

Lead development of scalable scheduling software for Toast’s restaurant workforce management product. Responsibilities include full-stack feature development, solution design, estimation, testing, debugging, technical reviews, mentoring developers, and collaboration with product managers, designers, customer success, and engineering stakeholders. The role also champions software quality and development practices, contributes to product decisions, and uses AI tools to improve engineering productivity. This is a hybrid position requiring two days per week in the Dublin office.
