Manages monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP. Responsibilities include account reconciliation, profitability analysis, statutory reporting, audits, tax support, SOX controls, accrual analysis, outsourced provider management, and process improvement. The role partners with FP&A, finance teams, auditors, tax professionals, and global stakeholders while supporting ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.

Perform month- and quarter-end close activities, including gross-to-net accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, reporting, rebate processing, and commercial contract reviews under ASC 606. Support revenue analysis, audits, SOX compliance, SEC reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Market Access, Commercial Operations, and Finance. The role requires strong accounting, analytical, communication, and deadline-management skills.

Leads commercial financial planning and analysis for BioMarin’s approximately $1B EUCAN region. Serves as strategic finance partner to the Regional SVP and leadership team, overseeing revenue planning, forecasting, performance management, OPEX, resource allocation, and ROI analysis.
