Staff Engineer, Mixed Signal Design Engineering
As part of the Engineering Enablement organization based in Limerick, this staff mixed signal design engineer architects, develops and maintains CAD tools/methods used in Analog, RF, and Mixed-Signal product development across all of ADI. Intense collaboration with product line leaders and users is expected to define new, innovative approaches, projects and products.
This individual will lead projects and report tactical and strategic plans as well as status to management.
As a Staff Mixed Signal Design Engineer, you will also be expected to possess necessary programming skills and circuit design knowledge to allow you to develop, QA, support, and enhance EDA tools/methods used by product development teams.
Requirements:
- Masters or Bachelors in Electrical/Electronics Engineers with 5+ years of experience, including supervisory and/or leadership experience
- Experience leading teams on successful projects
- Experienced in design and/or layout of Analog and mixed signal circuits
- Experienced in circuit simulation with Cadence ADE/Spectre, ideally with experience of RF simulations and debugging simulation issues
- Proficient at programming, like Cadence SKILL/Perl/Python/Shell etc. Formal training in software development is preferred.
- Good to have PDK or physical verification rules development experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical for working, influencing and collaborating with product development groups in India and worldwide.
- Proficiency in English language
