As a Senior QA Analyst within ERS you will work closely with the development team and Business Analysts to assure the quality of our software. This role will possess excellent knowledge of software quality principles, methods, and tools.
Major Activities:
The position will include, but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, and maintains detailed test specifications, plans, and Testing web, mobile and desktop applications.
- Conducts manual and automated testing across web, mobile, and desktop platforms to validate usability, performance, and reliability.
- Implements and maintains automated test suites using tools such as Cypress, contributing to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
- Participates in the full testing lifecycle, including test design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
- Drives quality assurance practices within cross-functional teams, proactively identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Maintains disciplined documentation and tracking of defects, ensuring timely resolution and communication with development teams.
- Re-testing defect fixes and regression testing.
- Develops, documents, and enforces quality assurance policies, standards, and procedures, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborates with stakeholders across the company to support strategic initiatives and meet operational objectives.
Knowledge:
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is a self-motivated, highly organized and disciplined individual who will have the following skills and experience:
- Degree in computer science with 5+ years experience in manual software testing.
- ISTQB (or equivalent) Foundation Level certification is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in test case development and execution is essential.
- Clear understanding of software development lifecycle.
- SQL experience is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI.
- Test Automation experience an advantage (Cypress).
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to interpret user requirements, detailed technical and functional specs and ability to apply this information to plan, develop and execute test cases and scripts.
- Proactive, willingness to take the initiative and assume responsibility where necessary.
