Rockpanel is looking for an HR Business Partner who is going to manage, drive and implement the people agenda aligned with the business strategy. Key words are: HR strategy, business partnering, internationalization, stakeholder-management and operational activities. Are you an entrepreneurial HR professional with international experience, ready to support and challenge Rockpanel MT for further growth and professionalism?

In this role you become part of the Rockpanel Management Team. You are responsible for the strategic people agenda of Rockpanel and act as a business partner for the Managing Director and 6 MT-members. The headquarters is located in Roermond and our workforce (100fte) is active in 10 different countries across Europe with the ambition to expand further! In alignment with other Rockwool OPCO’s and with our global HR Center of Excellence you drive the HR agenda and deliver support in achieving our business strategy. You will ensure optimal support (also hands-on support) for Rockpanel in enhancing business performance by establishing an effective organisational set-up, driving employee engagement by the use of the available HR processes / tools and proactive partnering with the business. 

What are you going to do? 

  • You drive the global HR agenda for Rockpanel by ensuring compliance with global HR processes
  • Responsible for the alignment of strategic HR agenda to meet the OPCO business strategy
  • Ensures the most efficient support for OPCO MT in improvement of business performance through people engagement, succession- & talent management and change management
  • Prepares and monitors long-term HR plans, goals and budget
  • Ensures change capabilities supporting OPCO MT in executing strategy and setting the right team and competences
  • Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks
  • Drives Strategic Workforce Planning, designs, maintains and challenges operational company organizational design
  • Analyses OPCO HR Business Plan, sets and monitors HR goals as well as financial budget (salaries, educations); Aligns OPCO HR Plan with regions and other RW OPCO’s
  • Actively participates in global HR projects driven by HR Centre of Excellence

Where are you going to work? 

As HR Business Partner, you will take on a self-managing, independent role with a focus on business partnering, analysis, and advice. You will be based in our Roermond office, but with a strong international scope. This means you will regularly travel to other offices across Europe to build your network, align with stakeholders, and represent Rockpanel in your MT role. In this position, you will report directly to the Managing Director. While you will have a great deal of autonomy, you will always have colleagues and peers available to brainstorm and provide support as needed.

What do we ask? 

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in HRM
  • 5+ years’ International HRM experience and experience in driving a strategic HRM agenda
  • 5+ years’ experience in Performance, Succession and Talent Management processes
  • Strong project management skills, strong business acumen, project and change Management, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, presentation and facilitation, coaching and influencing skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to travel internationally (5-10%) and work 4 days a week (32 hours)
