Are you ready to dive into the world of modern HR? In this dynamic role, you’ll become an essential part of our HR team by taking ownership of the administrative and operational follow-up of employee sickness cases—always in line with Dutch legislation. But that’s not all: you’ll play a key role in our onboarding journey and work closely with experienced HR Business Partners to ensure employees feel supported, informed, and welcomed from day one. Job DescriptionAbout your tasks:
- Be the right hand of our Case Manager and HR Business Partner Health by managing the administrative side of sickness cases.
- Ensure we stay compliant with Dutch law (Wet verbetering poortwachter) through accurate and timely follow-up.
- Join conversations with employees and managers, helping to maintain open, clear, and supportive communication during challenging times.
- Help create a memorable first impression by supporting our onboarding process and taking an active role in our Welcome Days.
- Work hand-in-hand with HR Business Partners to ensure every new colleague starts off on the right foot.
About your role:
- Strong communication skills in English and German (spoken and written); Dutch is a big plus.
- Tech-savvy and familiar with tools like MS Teams, Outlook, and Microsoft Office; we’ll train you on Jira and Afas.
- Available at least 3 days (24 hours) per week, ideally more—up to full-time.
- Open to working from our Sevenum office to foster collaboration and support meaningful in-person interactions
