Your role at DynatraceWe’re looking for a Practitioner Engagement Programs Lead to keep the Dynatrace practitioner story consistent and connected wherever practitioners show up. You’ll do that through global events, from our flagship user conference to developer programs and third-party events, and by partnering with our Product Advocacy and Developer Advocacy teams to connect their thought leadership in the channels and communities where practitioners spend their time. You’ll own the practitioner experience and programming behind that journey, along with the repeatable systems that let it scale. You’ll also partner with Product Management, Product Marketing, Customer Advocacy, Creative, and Events to turn strategy and messaging into programs a technical audience finds credible.
What you’ll do
Strategy & programming
  • Thread the practitioner story: Make sure the practitioner story stays connected across all content, from thought leadership to events and webinars.
  • Drive the practitioner experience at events: Decide what the end-to-end experience looks like for practitioners at our events, including how they engage with and learn about Dynatrace.
  • Set the editorial bar: Hold the quality bar for session abstracts, speaker materials, recaps, and event marketing content, and write or edit directly where it matters most.
Operations & program management
  • Build systems that scale: Build and maintain the trackers, speaker database, playbooks, and process documentation that let programs repeat without starting from scratch.
  • Measure and refine: Use audience data, session ratings, post-event feedback, and Net Promoter Score to decide what to keep, change, or cut in the next program.
  • Run the content timeline: Own timelines for every content deliverable so speakers, sessions, and materials land on schedule.
  • Keep leadership informed: Give leadership clear updates on progress, risks, and the decisions that need their call.
Cross-functional collaboration
  • Align partners on the program: Partner with Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Creative, and Events so strategy and messaging decisions translate cleanly into programs.
  • Bring customer stories to the stage: Work with Customer Advocacy to find customer stories and shape them into on-stage content that stays true to the customer’s experience.
  • Connect the thought leadership work: Partner with Product Advocacy and Developer Advocacy to connect their bylines, content series, and community work to the practitioner narrative, so every team speaks from the same script.
  • Manage speakers end to end: Own the speaker experience from outreach through rehearsal and day-of support, so every speaker is prepared and on message.
What will help you succeed
  • Program content experience: 7+ years in event content, programming, or content strategy, with direct ownership of flagship or high-visibility programs, including themes, session design, speaker curation, and keynote production.
  • Technical storytelling: You can distill complex technical ideas into narratives a practitioner audience trusts, in writing and on stage.
  • Program management: You run multiple workstreams at once and build trackers, playbooks, and documentation from scratch in a fast-moving environment.
  • Narrative alignment: You have kept a shared narrative, such as a messaging framework or story guide, consistent across the work of teams you don’t manage.
  • Influence without authority: You have connected the work of several teams, such as advocacy, product marketing, and events, into one plan, and you work comfortably with executives under tight timelines and ambiguity.
  • Measurement: You have tracked and reported on program success metrics and used the results to change what you do next.

Nice to have

  • Experience with developer, technical, or AI-focused audiences.
  • Experience running a call for proposals (CFP) program.
  • Experience with community event formats such as meetups, hackathons, and roundtables.
Why you will love being a Dynatracer
  • A one-product software company creating real value for the largest enterprises and millions of end customers globally, striving for a world where software works perfectly.
  • Working with the latest technologies and at the forefront of innovation in tech on scale; but also, in other areas like marketing, design, or research.
  • A team that thinks outside the box, welcomes unconventional ideas, and pushes boundaries.
  • An environment that fosters innovation, enables creative collaboration, and allows you to grow.
  • A globally unique and tailor-made career development program recognizing your potential, promoting your strengths, and supporting you in achieving your career goals.
  • A truly international mindset with Dynatracers from different countries & cultures all over the world, and English as the corporate language that connects us all
  • A culture that is being shaped by the diverse personalities, expertise, and backgrounds of our global team.
