Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new and improved packaging solutions within the framework of New Product Development (NPD) activities, value engineering, and ESG activities in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, and lead complex projects.
- Coordinate processes by carrying out packaging development and improvement projects for existing and new products.
- Collaborate with the regulatory affairs team to ensure compliance with packaging regulations.
- Be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and up-to-date specifications for packaging materials of all products.
- Follow up and report on sample studies of all designed and developed packages.
- Develop projects related to alternative materials and packaging processes, including conducting cost-saving studies.
- Develop and maintain packaging optimization and validation programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Food Technology.
- 3-5 years of experience in Packaging Development.
- Proficient in English.
- Knowledge of key packaging formats, materials, characteristics, analytical methods, regulatory, and legal aspects.
- Familiarity with manufacturing: key packaging machines and operating principles.
- Analytical with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Critical thinking and ability to simplify complex information.
- Effective communication skills.
