Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute a comprehensive procurement plan for all raw and packaging materials needed for production.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and minimize inventory costs.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure that all materials are available when needed and to minimize waste.
- Work with the materials management team to identify potential issues and implement processes to quickly resolve them.
- Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to procurement of materials.
- Create visibility and reporting structures for senior management.
- Monitor supply chain losses and near-expired and expired materials.
- Work closely with the supply planner to convert an unconstrained demand plan into a constrained supply forecast.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1 to 3 years of experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Power BI experience is a plus.
