Detailed Job Description-

 

Role definition -

 

You will be responsible for managing Campus Network and EMEA WAN infra managing and maintaining larger and complex environment.

Expected qualification and critical experiences –

6+ years of hands-on experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining larger and complex enviornment

Defining processes and ensuring that the processes are adhered to Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration Ensure maximum uptime according to the SLA Understanding of Multi-geo support environment Responsible for building maintaining a test environment Improves and maintains customer and employee satisfaction.

Adhering to SLAs Mentoring / Training Team Members Handling tickets

Requests Perform root cause analysis Troubleshooting and drive technical issues with other teams/domains (Server, VMWare, Storage etc.)

Suggests new technologies and design changes Monitoring and maintaining SLA requirements by the team members Testing / Auditing/processes as required from time to time.

Identify Skill gaps and plan for training / knowledge updating Manage Campus Network and EMEA WAN infra

Excellent hands-on experience on the following products: o Cisco L3 & L2 Switches o Cisco Nexus 9K/7K/5K/2K Series of switches o Cisco IOS Software and NX OS Software Knowledge of SD WAN

Advantageous Wireless LAN technologies Cisco and Aruba or Extreme. WAN

Acceleration/optimization Riverbed Knowledge or Hands on experience with CISCO.

Mandatory Skills and Certification:

Prime would be advantageous VMWare NSX Network Management tools Solarwinds, HPNNMi or Splunk Application

Load balancers F5 Big IP LTM/GTM or Citrix netscaler Experience with BGP, SDWAN and Security Technology

Soft Skills: Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written) Good documentation.

Basic understanding of Project Management Should have a excellent customer handling skills Able to handle high pressure situations High level of acceptance / Act as trusted advisor
