Provides hands-on junior technical support, including floor-walking after moves, resolving first-line issues, installing and de-installing desktop and AV equipment, cabling, desk testing, asset management, equipment handling, issue tracking, and administrative updates. The role also supports deliveries, waste separation, equipment preparation, and escalation of unresolved incidents. Network and comms room installation experience is desirable but not essential, provided the candidate is willing to learn.

Junior Technician
• Basic level of technical expertise.
• Floor-walk and support End Users with Testing, and after a move.
• Pick up and resolve 1st line issues and update issues log. Assist user in
raising an incident ticket for unresolved issues and record incident number in
the issues log.
• Identify any trends and feed back to Administrator & Project Manager.
• Attend daily huddle with the Team Leader detailing work for the day.
• Direct any non-tech issues to the relevant support team.
• Accept delivery of tech (including unboxing and managing waste as per site
instruction).
• Install and de-install desktop tech (including but not limited to desktop,
monitors, keyboards, mice, camera). De-install AV equipment.
• Cabling to the correct tech standards.
• Test every desk has operational tech.
• Admin (e.g. filling in trackers and related spreadsheets).
• Asset management. • Bubble-wrap equipment and cables ready for movement.
• Separate de-installed kit into reuse, and dispose.
Any other reasonable task.
