The Account Management Services team develops new capabilities for Mastercard and its customers. We protect cardholders and card issuers and help them manage their daily spending patterns. To enable us to uphold the high standard of these applications we are looking for out-of-the-box thinkers to play a critical role in the upkeep and continual health of these products.
 
We are seeking a Manager, Software Development Engineering, to work with our cross functional development teams, providing technical leadership, people management within the development lifecycle for new products and services.
Role
As Manager, Software Development Engineering you will manage scrum teams building Java based micro service application to host on cloud.
•  Take a product initiative from requirements to production
•  Lead and guide an agile teams of scrum masters, business analysts, developers and testers to deliver software that meets business objectives
•  Manage regular 1-1 conversation with the team member and perform talent review and deliver end of year conversation
•  Oversee effective development and delivery of software solutions
•  Collaborate with the Product Owners, Business/Tech Operations, and other stakeholders
•  Drive positive change within systems/process to optimally deliver on commitments 
•  Drive agile best practices amongst the teams
•  Drive your team’s capability and performance through coaching, mentoring, performance feedback and career development
•  Communication of status/progress to product teams/customers/senior management
•  Contribute to the knowledge of the software development guild
All About You
•  Experience with managing development teams in a multi-team environment, and experience with remote management
•  Experience with applying Scrum or SAFe Agile in a product development environment where high levels of performance, reliability and security are essential
•  Hands on experience with Java based application using Spring Boot and Micro service based architecture to be hosted on cloud platform
•  Experience with RESTful APIs is a distinct advantage
•  Great communicator with proven experience in collaborating with business stakeholders
•  Payments and fintech experience will be an advantage when it comes to compliance requirements such as PCI
