LearnUpon is looking for a Business & Process Improvement Analyst to join our team. This is a hybrid role, working 3 days per week from our Dublin office.

Our Finance team is vital to our Company and is responsible for keeping the financial operations of the company running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for a self motivated individual to join a rapidly growing software company and make significant contributions.

This role will be responsible for helping to streamline, simplify and improve the end-to-end processes, driving a continuous improvement culture, with systems & tools to drive productivity.

What will I be doing?

  • Conduct data analysis and process mapping to identify obstacles, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify, create, and participate in the implementation of business process improvements, enabling tools, and systems that deliver tangible value to the Finance Organisation.
  • Execute testing and initial review on enhancements before progressing to the end-user testing stage.
  • Assist where necessary, with the implementation of changes to the PRD environment.
  • Liaise with the relevant external Support Providers to: 
    • resolve queries raised by the team relating to system functionality
    • deliver enhancements to the Finance system
  • Analyze and develop business process diagrams and models to support process design and redesign initiatives.
  • Partner with other cross-functional teams to identify and address improvement opportunities.
  • Identify and implement automation across core business processes.
  • Document requirements to enable the creation of IT functional specifications where appropriate .

What skills do I need?                                                                                  

  • 3+ years experience working in finance/accounting environment.
  • Experience in system / process improvement delivery - with a Finance focus
  • Experience in dealing with third party support providers.
  • A high degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness, with an ability to discover and proactively remedy discrepancies.
  • High energy, proactive and independent individual who can serve as a partner and consultant.
  • Results oriented, with proven ability to prioritize and deliver quality work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Not required but considered a big plus

  • Exposure to SaaS environment.
  • Exposure to many finance functions such as Accounts Receivables.
  • Netsuite and/or Salesforce experience is advantageous but not essential.

What is the Hiring Process?

Applicants for the position can expect the following hiring process:

  • Qualified applicants will be invited to schedule a 30-minute call Talent Acquisition.
  • Successful candidates will then be invited to a series of practical interviews.
  • Finally, candidates will have a short interview with our CFO.
  • Successful candidates will be contacted with an offer to join our team.
