We are seeking a proactive and analytical Business Analyst to support our customer's Operations Control Centre in managing disruptions effectively. This role will focus on understanding customer and operational needs, analysing data and documenting requirements for change. The ideal candidate will drive improvements in disruption management by delivering insights, identifying trends and ensuring that business processes evolve to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Please note this role operates in a hybrid model with candidates expected to be able and willing to work from our customer's Dublin office at least once per week.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an operational or customer-focused environment
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and opportunities
- Experience documenting business requirements and working within an Agile or Waterfall environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels
- Knowledge of disruption management principles and best practices is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with process mapping, workflow documentation, and business case development
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Key responsibilities & duties include:
- Collaborate with Disruption Management Product Manager and OCC SMEs to understand Operational and Customer needs, identifying opportunities, pain points aswell as current risks & challenges
- Gather and document business requirements, through facialtion of cross-functional discussions between business users, IT, and external partners. Ensuring requirements are based off customer scenarios and aligned OCC and Customer Strategies. With the initial priority to complete analysis on known limitations around customers rebooking on connecting flights (primarily with checked in bags) through mapping existing process
- Extract and analyse data to support decision-making and prioritisation
- Work closely with the Product Owner(s) and technical teams working on Disruption Management initiatives by supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure business scenarios are covered
Desirable skills:
- Relevant Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, BCS)
