CEL is an Irish-based manufacturer, distributor, and exporter of electrical switchgear, controls, and related products and services, with a 40-year track record, focused on supplying the global data centre industry.

Operating from Ireland and in support of our 400,000 sq ft of manufacturing capacity in Williamsburg, Virginia, we aim to double in size each year for the next three years.

CEL is led by a hard-working team who value collaboration, continuous improvement, excellence in quality, and commercial curiosity. Building on this foundation, CEL is enhancing its overall business systems landscape with the goal of an integrated architecture inclusive of AI.

Through this role, you will ensure CEL continues to build on our reputation for manufacturing the best quality switchgear, with support systems that exceed our customers' expectations.

About the Role

CEL Critical Power designs and manufactures low-voltage switchgear and critical power distribution solutions for data centres and mission-critical facilities. As we continue to scale globally, we are creating a new role to lead the adoption and integration of AI across the business.

The AI Integration Lead will build this capability from the ground up, identifying where AI can deliver meaningful business value across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Tendering, Projects, and Finance, then working with stakeholders to embed those solutions into everyday operations.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is equally comfortable developing an AI roadmap for senior leadership as they are working directly with teams to design automations, improve workflows, integrate AI technologies, and drive adoption. Success in this role will require a blend of technical understanding, business acumen, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to turn emerging technologies into measurable business outcomes.

You will play a central role in helping CEL leverage AI to improve operational efficiency, decision-making, knowledge management, customer experience, and long-term competitiveness across its international operations.
