Coordinate event planning and project delivery within the PMO team, partnering with event producers and stakeholders. Improve change-management workflows, create project plans and processes, coordinate actions and deadlines, identify and escalate issues, and support innovation across the business. The role requires strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract supporting global event operations.

Research and identify high-impact technology speakers, develop persuasive outreach, engage speakers and their representatives, and acquire talent for Web Summit stages. The role manages speaker data and acquisition workflows, prepares detailed VIP speaker dossiers, conducts research, and meets speaker acquisition targets. Success requires exceptional communication, networking, curiosity, resilience, strong social awareness, and the ability to use AI, LLMs, and social tools to improve research and outreach.

Lead development of Web Summit’s attendee-facing web application, collaborating with Product and Design to deliver frequent customer-focused improvements. Responsibilities include writing code, maintaining performance and reliability at high scale, ensuring safe production changes through testing and monitoring, working onsite at events, and line-managing and developing engineers through feedback, delegation, and coaching.
