Performs goods-in, stock control, weighing, product specification checks, storage, stock rotation, and weekly stocktakes in a food production environment. The role supports the butchery team, maintains hygiene and housekeeping standards, follows HACCP and food safety procedures, reports issues and unsafe conditions, and complies with health and safety requirements. Basic IT skills and induction training are provided.

Design and analyse supply chain KPIs and business data to improve product availability, customer experience and reduce costs. Lead cross-functional projects, develop and implement supply chain solutions, maintain ERP data accuracy, coordinate logistics and planning improvements, and work with BT/BI teams to build reporting.

Supervise depot transport operations, ensuring timely route dispatch, driver performance, vehicle safety, maintenance, and regulatory compliance. Monitor schedules and delivery performance using technology, coach and motivate drivers, manage absence and disciplinary processes, coordinate training, investigate incidents, and reduce delivery damages and shortages. The role also requires accurate reporting, effective team organization, and strong customer service in a high-volume distribution environment.
