Develop and operate cloud-based software components for AI-powered customer experience products. Own features from design through deployment, contribute to system architecture, lead cross-microservice development, review code, and mentor engineers. Research and benchmark text-to-speech and speech-to-text engines, assess architectural impacts of new technologies, contribute to product roadmaps, and uphold security, traceability, testing, and DevOps practices.

Leads a small team designing conversational AI experiences across voice and digital channels. Combines hands-on UX, conversation design, research, prototyping, and experience strategy with people management, coaching, hiring, and workforce planning. Partners with Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science, and AI teams to shape customer-centered experiences involving dialogue, context, recovery, escalation, trust, and human handoff. Guides priorities, critiques work, develops designers, and ensures AI experiences are evaluated through real customer interactions.

Design research-led conversational AI experiences across voice and digital channels. Lead discovery, user research, prototyping, and evaluation for multi-turn dialogue, context, clarification, recovery, trust, and human handoff. Partner with Product, Engineering, AI, Research, and Data Science to define interaction patterns, navigate ambiguity, and influence product direction through evidence, storytelling, and design rationale.

Build and operate highly available analytics platform services handling large-scale event streams and terabytes of data. Design streaming ingestion, storage, search, aggregation, and distributed systems using Java, Spring, AWS, and Kafka. Deploy and automate cloud infrastructure, improve reliability and performance, troubleshoot production incidents, and collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams. Contribute through code reviews, mentoring, testing, observability, and automation.

Own execution of Genesys’ Agentic Orchestration product, taking validated architecture through detailed specifications, sequencing, engineering delivery, and production adoption. Lead cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, design, and senior stakeholders without relying on formal authority. Define performance and customer-outcome measures, establish telemetry and validation, resolve technical tradeoffs, and guide the roadmap for AI-driven orchestration capabilities. The role is initially an individual contributor with potential progression into people management.
