Vice President ComplianceWhat does a successful EMEA Vice President Compliance do?
At Fiserv, a successful EMEA Vice President Compliance leads our compliance function across the region by ensuring regulatory frameworks are effectively administered and adhered to. You will be responsible for managing relationships with financial regulators, overseeing regulatory filings, and advising on relevant laws, rules, and regulations. Leveraging your expertise in compliance and financial crimes, you will drive excellence within our organization by fostering a strong compliance culture and supporting our mission to align with the speed of life.
What you will do:
Lead the EMEA Compliance function to ensure the provision of high-quality compliance services, advice, and guidance.
Manage and develop direct reporting staff across multiple countries in EMEA.
Oversee the submission of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and other regulatory filings in compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
Advise and inform business units on applicable laws, rules, regulations, and codes of practice.
Manage the firm’s compliance procedures, documentation, and monitoring systems.
Provide strategic and tactical consulting to business lines regarding compliance issues.
Develop, implement, and manage relevant compliance monitoring programmes.
Liaise with global Compliance Officers and MLROs across licensed jurisdictions.
Identify significant risks and assign ownership for management of these risks.
Coordinate training and education activities for staff on regulatory compliance matters.
What you will need to have:
Proven experience at a senior level in risk & compliance roles.
Thorough understanding of key regulatory requirements and expectations.
Ability to deliver and embed Regulatory Management Frameworks.
Strong working knowledge of payment services and merchant acquiring.
Extensive experience working with and presenting to regulators, auditors, and bank partners.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work cross-border and cross-functionally with diverse teams.
What would be great to have:
Experience in the FinTech industry.
Proficiency in multiple languages.
Compliance and/or financial crimes related professional credentials.
Proven track record in managing regulatory affairs.
Familiarity with financial services technology.
