The eCommerce Trading Specialist will take proactive ownership in optimizing website performance, executing trading initiatives, and delivering revenue growth. This role will support key decision-making by analyzing market trends and customer behaviors while driving category and promotional strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial & Strategic Ownership
- Accountable for full trading performance and KPIs in the assigned market or cross-market initiatives.
- Leads market strategy and optimization, ensuring alignment with business goals and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Plans and owns the full trading calendar, prioritizing high-impact actions and pushing back with sound reasoning when needed.
- Demonstrates deep market knowledge, understanding all commercial levers and their interactions.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
- Leads cross-functional workstreams, ensuring campaign and initiative delivery across departments.
- Collaborates independently across teams, serving as the go-to person for market insights and decisions.
- Performance Mindset & Execution
- Makes independent, data-informed decisions, with validation where appropriate.
- Acts quickly to solve problems and remove blockers, proactively addressing known and new issues.
- Maintains a commercially sharp and accountable attitude, continuously seeking performance improvements.
- Operates with full autonomy, balancing performance levers and aligning actions with broader business direction.
Essential Competencies/ skills :
- 3+ years of experience in eCommerce and website merchandising.
- Experience with website content management systems like Magento
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to performance optimization.
- Experience in campaign execution and a strong ability to take ownership of key trading activities.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Power BI.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or eCommerce-related fields.
- Strong competency in English
- Second European language proficiency is a strong advantage
