Amach is seeking an experienced Senior QA/Test Lead to support a leading aviation customer in Dublin. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving end-to-end quality assurance across Agile scrum teams while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-facing solutions.
Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in Dublin office)
Key responsibilities & duties include:
- Act as a hands-on QA leader, contributing directly to test planning, automation, execution and quality engineering activities while ensuring QA strategy and best practices are embedded across delivery teams.
- Drive innovation and AI adoption within QA, identifying and implementing AI-enabled testing tools, automation opportunities and modern quality engineering approaches to improve efficiency, coverage and product quality.
- Take ownership of complex testing activities across multiple workstreams, operating effectively with limited direction in a fast-paced, evolving and non-structured environment.
- Lead by example through strong technical contribution while providing guidance, mentoring and support across the wider QA function where required.
- Plan, manage and measure testing activities while delivering clear reporting on quality metrics, delivery progress, risks and outcomes.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience leading or mentoring QA teams
- Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and testing tools
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, API testing, UI testing, and integration testing
- Strong understanding of regression testing and release management
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to proactively identify and escalate quality risks
- Comfortable working within fast-paced and evolving environments
