We are hiring — Electricians | Quality Team
We are looking for experienced Electricians to join our Testing team. The ideal candidates will work closely with the production team, be self-motivated, work efficiently and have strong attention to detail.
We welcome applications from internal candidates who hold a Level 6 or Level 7 qualification and are committed to progressing to Level 8.
Responsibilities
- Testing of all switchgear in accordance with general arrangement and schematic drawings.
- Perform inspections, fault finding and testing of electrical installations and controls, high voltage, megger testing and creating snag lists.
- Prepare and perform factory acceptance testing with clients demonstrating switchgear functionality.
- Complete electrical test certificates and inspection reports.
- Communicate effectively with the production team and clients.
- Ensuring all testing equipment is calibrated and up to date.
- Adhering to company health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- A qualified Electrician or have a higher technical qualification.
- Preferred five years relevant work experience in Switchgear/Control manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical ability and excellent electrical competency
- Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
- Knowledge of quality standards and regulations
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Analytical mindset
- Excellent personnel management and communication skills.
- Proactive with an eye for continuous improvement.
- Good IT skills.
- Operate with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work to tight schedules and achieve targets.
