We are looking to hire experienced Electricians to join our Testing team. We are looking for candidates who will work closely with the production team, be self-motivated, work efficiently and have strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Testing of all switchgear in accordance with general arrangement and schematic drawings.
  • Perform inspections, fault finding and testing of electrical installations and controls, high voltage, megger testing and creating snag lists.
  • Prepare and perform factory acceptance testing with clients demonstrating switchgear functionality.
  • Complete electrical test certificates and inspection reports.
  • Communicate effectively with the production team and clients.
  • Ensuring all testing equipment is calibrated and up to date.
  • Adhering to company health and safety guidelines.

Requirements
  • A qualified Electrician or have a higher technical qualification.
  • Preferred five years relevant work experience in Switchgear/Control manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical ability and excellent electrical competency
  • Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and regulations
  • Good troubleshooting skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Excellent personnel management and communication skills.
  • Proactive with an eye for continuous improvement.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Operate with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to tight schedules and achieve targets.
