Job Description
This role will offer the chance to promote daily operations by creatively maintaining crucial application systems with critical thinking skills.
As a Technology Support II in Payments Services, you will use both creative and critical thinking skills to maintain and improve application systems that are crucial to our daily operations. You will work collaboratively in teams on a wide range of projects, gaining exposure to software development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement. This role provides the opportunity to grow professionally and develop your career in any direction you choose.
Job responsibilities

  • Analyze and troubleshoot production application flows to ensure end-to-end application or infrastructure service delivery supporting the business operations of the firm
  • Improve operational stability and availability through participation in problem management
  • Monitor production environments for anomalies and address issues utilizing standard observability tools
  • Assist in the escalation and communication of issues and solutions to the business and technology stakeholders
  • Identify trends and assist in the management of incidents, problems, and changes in support of full stack technology systems, applications, or infrastructure


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining information technology services
  • Exposure to observability and monitoring tools and techniques
  • Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages, plus an interest in learning other coding languages and skills as needed
  • Working knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
  • Knowledge of one or more infrastructure components such as networking, cloud services, orchestration tools, containerization, compute and storage systems
  • Experience in service-level changes to a system and troubleshooting components
  • Experience in a production support environment
  • Experience with creating Alerts, Dashboard monitoring with Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog and Grafana monitoring tools.
  • Working knowledge of the Unix/Linux environment


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of one or more general purpose programming languages or automation scripting
