Create and execute manual and automated test cases and frameworks for UI, API, and backend. Integrate tests into CI/CD, log and track defects, collaborate with developers, and improve automation coverage and QA processes to ensure high-quality releases.
The Technical QA Analyst will be responsible for both manual and automated testing of software products to ensure they meet business requirements and agreed quality standards. The role involves close collaboration with development and products team to identify defects early, improve test coverage through automation, and ensure high-quality releases.
- Develop manual and automated test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
- Design, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing.
- Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and document outcomes.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
- Identify, report, prioritize, and track defects using bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Participate actively in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirements review, design discussions, development, testing, and deployment.
- Continuously improve test processes, automation coverage, and overall QA efficiency.
- Communicate testing progress, automation results, risks, and quality metrics to project stakeholders.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance.
Experience Type:
- Strong knowledge of Typescript and at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., php, Python).
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, REST).
- Experience testing APIs and backend services using automation tools.
- Knowledge of at least one database management system and ability to validate data.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) is an advantage.
- Experience with performance and security testing is an added advantage.
