Gong is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Team Lead-dedicated to developing our most popular applications serving thousands of customers and constantly impacting Gong's user base to become raving fans of our product.
NOTE: This position is a hybrid-based role (Dublin office 3 days a week and remote 2 days)
As the Engineering Team Lead, you will:
- Lead and expand a growing team of backend and frontend engineers.
- Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to shape the team’s roadmap, balancing both product goals and engineering priorities.
- Lead by example, driving continuous improvement and optimization of the team’s products and infrastructure.
- Design and architect long-term technical solutions that deliver a significant impact on both our wide platform and customers.
- Coach, mentor, hire, and grow individuals on the team to reach their full potential.
You should apply if you are:
- Previous experience leading a growing team.
- Proven industry experience as a Senior software engineer
- Strong technical background focusing on large-scale, cloud-based web applications.
- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (advantage).
- Experience with user-facing products (advantage).
- Holding a degree in computer science or a similar field (preferred).
- Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
- Most importantly, a passion for motivating, mentoring, and cultivating people.
