You'll be involved in the full project lifecycle—from technical design and tender support through to installation, commissioning, and ongoing technical support. This role would suit someone who is passionate about AV and broadcast technologies, enjoy problem-solving, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Sales and Design Teams: Develop technical solutions tailored to customer needs.

  • Tender Submissions: Assist in completing tender submissions with the Sales and Design teams.

  • Project Planning: Develop project plans and schedules in collaboration with the Project Management team.

  • Installation Supervision: Oversee and assist installation teams to ensure high-quality installations.

  • On-Site Coordination: Liaise with on-site managers, technical staff, and building contractors as required.

  • Equipment Configuration: Configure broadcast, AV, and IT equipment according to system design and customer requirements.

  • Customer Demonstrations: Demonstrate system functions to customers and ensure satisfaction with installation and functionality.

  • Equipment Tracking: Track serial numbers, MAC addresses, firmware, and details of installed equipment.

  • Commissioning Forms: Complete commissioning forms for installed equipment.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure work is completed to a consistently high standard and request revisits or fixes if required.

  • Issue Reporting: Advise of any on-site issues and report to the project manager or site manager.

  • Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support for systems as required, including potential ‘on-call’ duties.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • 3rd level qualification in engineering, science, or a technical discipline—or equivalent hands-on experience.

Desirable:

  • AVIXA certification or similar AV systems qualification.

  • Networking certifications such as CCNA.

  • Experience in broadcast engineering, AV integration, or similar technical fields.
