The System Design Engineer will design and configure audio-visual systems, collaborate with sales and project teams, and manage technical documentation and quality processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- To be an expert in technical aspects of Audio-visual installation and operation in CT Ireland
- To help design and draw system layouts/configurations for tenders and projects, including mechanical and electrical drawings.
- To provide technical expertise to the Sales Representatives when scoping a project.
- To help source hardware solutions to meet project designs.
- To provide cabling schedules, cable labeling, IP network tables.
- To work with Project Management Office, Install Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, Pre, and Post Sales Tech when clarifications or design updates are required.
- To support the Technical Director in all design aspects and to backup during times of leave
- Attend site visits when required to gather more information for the design or help Sales Representatives explain technical aspects of the designs.

- Help develop and improve the company’s internal processes and management system by reporting corrective actions, updates, and improvement ideas.

- Electronic Engineering 3rd level qualification
- Electrical Engineering 3rd level qualification

- AVIXA (CTS-D, CTS-I)

- Autocad/Stardraw
- Manufacturer certificates
- Basic programming/configuration of control systems
Experience:
