Main Responsibilities:

  • To be an expert in technical aspects of Audio-visual installation and operation in CT Ireland
  • To help design and draw system layouts/configurations for tenders and projects, including mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • To provide technical expertise to the Sales Representatives when scoping a project.
  • To help source hardware solutions to meet project designs.
  • To provide cabling schedules, cable labeling, IP network tables.
  • To work with Project Management Office, Install Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, Pre, and Post Sales Tech when clarifications or design updates are required.
  • To support the Technical Director in all design aspects and to backup during times of leave
  • Attend site visits when required to gather more information for the design or help Sales Representatives explain technical aspects of the designs.

  • Comply with Company’s Quality Management System requirements i.e., perform your work according to your process documents, procedures and maintaining document information/completing department forms/records as required.
  • Understand and apply our quality policy statements in all aspects of your work.
  • Contribute towards achieving company objectives

  • Ensure that the needs and requirements of company’s internal staff and customers are understood and delivered.
  • Help develop and improve the company’s internal processes and management system by reporting corrective actions, updates, and improvement ideas.

Education:

  • Electronic Engineering 3rd level qualification
  • Electrical Engineering 3rd level qualification
  • Mechanical Engineering 3rd level qualification
  • AVIXA (CTS-D, CTS-I)

Licenses/Certificates:

  • Safe Pass
  • Manual handling
  • Autocad/Stardraw
  • Manufacturer certificates
  • Basic programming/configuration of control systems

Experience:

  • AV system design
  • AV system installation
  • IT Networking
  • IT Infrastructure
  • AV control system design and configuration
  • AV rack building experience

This role is a fixed term maternity leave cover.
