About the Function
Diageo Baileys produces 9 million EUs of finished goods annually across two sites in Ireland and the UK. Our Supply Planning team translates market demand into supply and production plans aiming to optimise customer service, stock levels, capacity, and cost.
As complexity grows with more SKUs and packaging formats, the team plays a key role in driving efficiency and delivering our performance ambition through best-in-class planning practices.
About the Role
As a Supply Planner, you’ll play a key role in balancing capacity, inventory, customer service, site performance, and component availability. Your decisions will directly impact cash flow, overhead recovery, and overall supply chain efficiency. You'll act as a connector between key functions to deliver optimised plans that meet both business and customer needs.
In this role, you will:

Develop clear, concise supply plans for domestic and export finished goods across 9 packaging lines

Create short-term plans for the call-off of liquid and materials to support 13.5 million cases of production

Lead capacity planning across a 3 to 18-month horizon for two packaging sites, processing plants, and rework locations

Be responsible for the Supply Planning review within the S&OP process, balancing demand and supply to align with business strategy and customer expectations

Build and maintain strong partnerships across Plan, Source, Make, Move, Brand Technical, Finance, Legal, 3PLs, and third-party customers

Champion a safety culture for yourself and others

Lead the valuable pack campaign, ensuring market needs are met while minimising stock write-offs

Actively contribute to Diageo’s supply chain transformation, continuous improvement, innovation, and renovation projects

Ensure clear communication of plans across the end-to-end supply chain

Operate with an approach of ownership, putting customers at the heart of planning decisions and striving to exceed service performance targets

Find opportunities, solve challenges, and deliver improvement initiatives across the global supply chain

Demonstrate integrity, openness, and collaboration, building trust with team members at all levels
This role is central to delivering world-class supply performance through integrated planning, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration in line with Diageo’s values and ambition.
About You
We’re looking for someone with a degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business or a related field (an APICS qualification is beneficial) and shown experience in supply planning, ideally within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
In addition, we are looking for:

Understanding of Demand & Supply Planning, Logistics and Route to Market (desirable)

Has excellent communication and team member leadership skills

People management experience with a consistent record leading in as planning function

Brings strong IT and numerical skills with SAP ECC6, SAP APO and SAP analysis Microsoft office experience
