The Supply Planner is a key member of the Supply Chain function, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. This role will be responsible for developing and maintaining supply plans, scheduling, and expediting the flow of raw materials, intermediates, and API though to delivery to the drug product site while supporting execution of the Sales and Operational Planning Process.

Your primary focus will be: 

  • Maintain accurate Production Plans in Rapid Response and execute through SAP

  • Validate supply plans through the S&OP process.

  • Maintain Process Order / Batch detail in weekly plan.

  • Create and maintain supply plans for direct materials to meet production and stock objectives considering supplier and production constraints

  • Call off direct materials to maintain inventory levels according to MRP output

  • Provide forecasts to vendors

Additional responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Ship Plan in Rapid Response and execute through SAP

  • Maintain accurate master data in Rapid Response and SAP

  • Work with Rapid Response and SAP teams to challenge and improve planning functionality

  • Lead Raw Material Review Meetings

  • Monitor batches for release

To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelors’ degree with Supply Chain basics or 5 years Supply Chain experience in the Pharmaceuticals industry or similarly highly regulated industry. APICS qualification is desirable. Experience in business, preferably in supply chain operations with knowledge of planning systems and processes. Strong knowledge of MS Office programs, mid/advance level MS Excel desired. Strong analytical thinking. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
