The Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) organization is seeking a Supply Planner for our Datacenter Supply Strategy and Planning team (DSSP). This role supports the development and execution of datacenter supply plans that enable Microsoft's rapidly growing global cloud infrastructure, which powers services including Azure, AI, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Xbox, and many others.Supply Planning operates at the intersection of multiple teams that collaborate to deliver datacenter capacity, beginning with customer demand signals and ending with production-ready datacenter infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional data center supply plans across new and existing metros, balancing demand, capacity, cost, lead times, and operational constraints.
- Analyze supply and demand trends, perform scenario modeling and "what-if" assessments, and provide recommendations to support forward and reverse supply planning decisions.
- Prepare and present supply planning strategies, risks, trade-offs, and performance insights to senior leadership through regular business reviews and S&OP processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging statistical methodologies, supply chain best practices, and emerging technologies, including AI/ML-enabled planning solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize planning processes, reporting frameworks, and supporting systems to meet evolving business needs.
- Utilize data analytics, dashboards, and supply chain tools to identify gaps, monitor performance, conduct root cause analysis, and deliver actionable insights that improve supply plan execution.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field.
- Experience in supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Supply Planning IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Ireland is € 69,000.00 - € 118,200.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
