Supervisor, Accounts Payable

As a Supervisor, Accounts Payable at ICON, you will oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

What You Will Do:

You will oversee accounting and financial operations workstreams, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising daily corporate credit card administration activities, ensuring transactions, reconciliations, uploads, and program controls are completed accurately and on time.
• Managing team workflows, shared inboxes, helpdesk queries, and ServiceNow tickets to maintain service levels and timely resolution of issues.
• Acting as an escalation point for complex cardholder, banking, and program-related queries.
• Monitoring program compliance, identifying risks, and ensuring adherence to company policies, audit requirements, and internal controls.
• Coordinating monthly reporting, reconciliations, exception management, and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborating with banking partners, Finance teams, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to support program objectives.
• Providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Identifying process improvement opportunities and driving initiatives to enhance efficiency, controls, and the cardholder experience.
• Analyzing program metrics and trends to support decision-making and operational effectiveness.

Your Profile:

You will have strong financial operations experience, excellent leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to manage complex processes and stakeholder relationships.
Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Significant experience in corporate credit card program administration, financial operations, accounts payable, banking platforms or a related area.
• Experience leading or supervising teams in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance requirements, audit processes, and financial governance.
• Experience working with banking platforms, Oracle, ServiceNow, reporting tools, and other financial systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%)
