Your Role

As a Strategy Manager you will be a trusted advisor to our clients. You will have the opportunity to shape and complete their business transformation agendas. You will help them navigate their largest strategic initiatives and most critical problems at the intersection of business and technology.

You will create plans to define how a business should evolve to realise our client’s vision, address their competitive landscape and generate shareholder value. You will maintain knowledge of best practices, industry landscapes and emerging technologies, and apply these to develop leading business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand a client’s business, the industry, competitive landscape and customer expectations and link these insights to tangible business value by identifying key strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Frame complex problems and develop recommendations based on industry and business knowledge and rigorous analysis.
  • Build strong credibility and relationships at C-level based on exceptional outcomes, effective communication, compelling storylines and the positive impact of your team.
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagements to drive alignment and gather insights.
  • Lead and mentor a team of consultants and analysts, fostering a collaborative team environment and encouraging professional development.
  • Navigate through the Accenture global network and leverage the necessary expertise to develop relevant executive insights and perform business development at our clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop growth strategies to expand client relationships.

Desired Skills and Experience

Our Strategy Managers typically have the following competences:

  • 5+ years of experience in relevant Strategy domains in consulting or customer facing project-based work, with excellent people management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Extensive professional experience in industry – either as a strategy consultant or within corporate roles.
  • First class written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent academic records.
  • Skills in market sizing, data analysis, competitive assessment, business case development and business model innovation.
  • Passion for maximising business value.
