What you’ll be doing…

You’ll be leading the sourcing process for an IT Category within the IT Sourcing Department, where we spend more than five hundred million dollars per year. While guiding your internal business stakeholders through the acquisition process, you’ll be identifying potential suppliers, reviewing & drafting requirements and agreements, analyzing qualifications, negotiating deals, identifying savings opportunities and monitoring supplier performance. Our purchasing power combined with your skills and expertise will help us maintain our market-leading position. What you will be doing:

  • Planning and proposing sourcing strategies that best support business needs.

  • Creating, updating, and presenting the Category Strategy.

  • Performing market analyses to find potential new suppliers, while maintaining and developing existing partnerships.

  • Negotiating commercial terms for agreements and renewals.

  • Handling the sourcing process and leading cross-functional teams to document requirements and reach consensus.

  • Working closely with Legal counsel, Contract Manager, Tax, and other policy subject matter experts.

  • Validating that suppliers are upholding contract terms and updating key deal briefings.


What we’re looking for…


You understand commerce. Because you are a master relationship builder, external suppliers see you as an invaluable partner and internal stakeholders see you as a trusted advisor. You have no problem prioritizing multiple simultaneous projects and you’re no stranger to tight timelines. You are comfortable chairing cross functional meetings and communicating with both internal and external parties at Senior level when required. Balancing the intersection of cost, efficiency, and quality, you expertly negotiate the best outcomes for all parties.


You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant Strategic Sourcing experience.

  • Category Sourcing Management, Supplier Management and/or Purchasing experience.

  • To be considered for this role, applicants must already hold a valid right to work in Ireland. We are currently unable to support employment permit sponsorship.


Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • IT or Technology Strategic Sourcing experience.

  • Negotiation, cost management and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of the commercial legal language, terminologies related to contracting.

  • Project & Stakeholder Management in a complex multi-project and multi-geography environment.

  • Ability to work independently, as directed, with limited supervision.

  • Experience in driving cross-functional teams to achieve common goals in complex deals.

  • Competence in AI tools to increase  efficiency, accuracy and speed to the required work processes.

  • Certifications in CPSM/CPM/CIPS/CSCP and/or Lean Six Sigma.

  • Experience in Ariba, SAP, Google Suite & Microsoft Suite applications.
