We are seeking a Solutions Architect to be embedded with our customer in the aviation sector, working closely with their technical and business teams to design, implement and optimise cloud, data and AI solutions that drive operational excellence. You will serve as the trusted technical advisor, translating the customer's complex aviation challenges into scalable architectural solutions while ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives. This is a fully remote role that offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on a leading airline's digital transformation journey.
Please note: this is a fully remote role.
Required skills:
- 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture or similar technical advisory roles within cloud or enterprise environments
- Demonstrated expertise with Amazon Connect and related AWS services
- Strong understanding of aviation industry processes, systems or business challenges is highly valued
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working embedded with customers or in customer-facing technical roles
Desirable skills:
- Background in data architecture or AI/machine learning solutions
- Experience with airline operations, flight planning, crew management or related aviation systems
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Key responsibilities & duties include:
- Work with the customer's stakeholders to understand their aviation business requirements and translate them into technical solution architectures
- Design and implement cloud and data solutions tailored to the customer's operational needs, ensuring scalability, security and performance
- Lead technical design reviews and architecture decisions with the customer's engineering teams
- Provide ongoing technical guidance and support to the customer's teams throughout solution implementation and deployment
- Collaborate with Amach's product and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met and integrated effectively
- Drive adoption of best practices and optimisation strategies within the customer's technology environment
- Manage the customer relationship at a technical level, acting as a primary point of escalation for technical concerns and strategic questions
