The role 


Join the team that creates PlayStation development tools used by thousands of game developers, testers, artists, and producers to make every PlayStation game.   

Working with experienced colleagues, you will play a fundamental role developing and improving our video streaming technology that has developed into a critical product since remote working became the norm.


The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to continue to learn, to develop and to explore ideas; to demonstrate strong design and coding skills, and, above all, have a passion for quality.  


What you’ll be doing

  • Analysis of customer requirements to produce maintainable designs 
  • Develop and deliver work to schedule 
  • Participate in code and documentation reviews 
  • Provide estimates for tasks 
  • Provide input to technical writers producing documentation 
  • Work with support engineers on customer issues 

Must have

  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills 
  • Strong C# and / or C++ skills gained in a commercial environment 
  • Experience with .Net, WPF or Avalonia 
  • Experience with React 
  • Commercial experience in desktop UI design 
  • Deep understanding concurrency and related design patterns 
  • Familiar with software testing techniques and tools, writing unit tests  
  • Confident in Git 

Nice to have

  • Electron (Node.js) 
  • Typescript 
  • HTML / CSS 
  • Experience in cross platform development for Windows, Linux, MacOS 
  • Reactive UI 
  • gRPC 
  • MFC 
  • PostgreSQL 
  • xUnit 

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
€69.500€104.300 EUR
