We are currently focused on expanding our platform's capabilities, enhancing our integration framework, and building intelligent features that will further streamline the global payroll experience.

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to play a key role in the continued growth and evolution of Workday Global Payroll Connect. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a strategic product that is transforming the landscape of global payroll management. As a Software Engineer on our team, you will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment of critical features and integrations.

You will collaborate closely with other engineers, architects, product managers, and QA specialists to build robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions that seamlessly connect Workday with our global payroll partner ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing APIs, enhancing our data integration pipelines, building new platform capabilities, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our services. This role offers the chance to tackle complex technical challenges, work with different technologies, and directly contribute to delivering significant value to our global customer base.

About You

If you are a highly motivated and results-oriented Software Engineer with a passion for building impactful and scalable solutions, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to join our Workday Global Payroll Connect team. • 4+ years of object-oriented design and development experience using languages such as Java, C#, or similar.

  • Appreciation for diverse perspectives and a commitment to contributing to an inclusive and innovative team culture.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Are you being referred to one of our roles? If so, ask your connection at Workday about our Employee Referral process!
