Position Summary
The Customer focused Compliance Specialist is a mid-level Trade Compliance professional responsible for leading complex compliance activities and supporting customer-focused trade compliance activities across assigned operations.

Available locations: Dublin / Bray / Waterford
Key Responsibilities
- Lead advanced trade compliance reviews across assigned operations.
- Manage Export Licenses, determination, application, maintenance and reporting.
- Assess compliance risks associated with imports, exports, and customs activities.
- Provide guidance regarding trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Support development and implementation of compliance procedures and controls.
- Coordinate responses to audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams.
- Identify compliance risks and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Support strategic compliance initiatives and continuous improvement across assigned operations.
Education Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Professional training or certification in EU customs law, export controls, and international trade compliance preferred.
• Regional and global education equivalencies accepted.
• Experience as an internal auditor is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
• 4–9+ years of experience in Trade Compliance, Customs Compliance, Logistics, or International Trade.
• Experience in handling regulatory audits and managing export licenses is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience supporting global compliance programs and stakeholder engagement.
Full knowledge on supply chain full process from end to end is a plus.
Key Skills and Knowledge
- In depth knowledge of customs and trade compliance activities in international environments.
- In-depth knowledge of EU export control regulations, export licensing, sanctions, and dual-use controls.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
