As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be designing and developing high quality software to deliver key features of the Product roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high quality, efficient, testable software to implement key product features.

• Bring features all the way through the Design, Test, Deploy and Maintenance cycles.

• Understand the overall architecture of the system and the wider ecosystem.

• Actively participate in team code reviews and enhance overall team velocity.

• Act as a mentor to other members of the team. Coaching others to help grow them and reach their full potential. Foster open communication and collaboration within the team.

• Apply processes appropriately for data security, traceability, and information sharing.

• Champion software development best practices, design patterns and agile methodologies.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a globally extended team.

• Embrace change and be ready to adapt to evolving requirements, technologies, and priorities.

What you will bring to the role:

• Detailed understanding of object-oriented programming & design.

• Excellent programming skills, particularly in Java or Python.

• Experience of developing REST API’s. 

• Understanding of Microservices architecture principles and best practices.

• Cloud Native application development, with AWS based. (Lambda, DynamoDB, ec2, S3, SQS, SNS for example)

• Experience of CI/CD processes and technologies with a proven understanding of tools like Jenkins and Bitbucket

• Proactive, self-driven, and possessing a growth mindset embracing opportunities for personal and professional development.
