What HR Business Partner contributes to Cardinal Health
Human Resources designs, implements and delivers human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, talent management, diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, among others. This function anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs in alignment with business strategies.

The Senior Specialist-HRBP plays a key role in elevating engagement, satisfaction, and commitment across the organization. This role is responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering initiatives that strengthen our workplace culture and enhance the overall employee experience both through virtual and in person events. Creativity, collaboration, and strong relationship building skills with employees, leaders, and community partners are essential for success in this position.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree holder
  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience with exposure in the GBS, BPO or events management space.
  • Willingness to work onsite and support events across flexible schedules, including mid‑ and night‑shift requirements
  • At least 2 years of engagement experience, whether through ECG or other employee groups, organizations, committees, or volunteer initiatives.
  • Open to B4/P1/P2 (should meet IJP criteria)
  • Current role for a minimum of 1 year to be eligible to apply for this position

Key Responsibilities

  • Report to the Communication and Engagement Manager and partner closely with the Engagement Coordinator, partners and cross-functional teams to manage logistics and activation for engagement, CSR, and various ad hoc events, both major and minor. 
  • Support the development of strategies, budgets, and special HR /HRBP/Pillar projects and initiatives that foster a culture of excellence and meaningful employee engagement.
  • Coordinate and deliver the annual CARES Engagement Calendar including activities such as Anniversaries, Year-End Event, Family Day, Team Building, Trick or Treat, Customer Service Week, Monthly Themed Events, CSR initiatives, Capability and Culture programs, and other morale‑building events. This also covers Cardinal Health Listening Strategy Sessions and Quarterly Townhalls.
  • Collaborate positively with employees at all levels to help strengthen appreciation, recognition, and inclusion across the organization.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to support site-wide communications, promotional materials, campaigns, and social media postings for internal events.
  • Use appropriate communication channels to deliver key messages in a timely and consistent manner, aligned with corporate guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and inventories, generate reports, and provide data insights for performance and engagement analysis.
  • Build and support relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, HR Operations, HR teams, Operations, Support Groups, and other business partners.
  • Manage and track engagement inventory, including milestone items and merchandise.
  • Update and maintain engagement-related systems (e.g., EPPS for new hires, terms, LOA, attendance).
  • Handle event‑related systems and processes, including Corrigo and RAMS.
  • Work with Facilities during event preparation and execution.
  • Collect and manage new-hire information such as jacket sizes and oversee distribution logistics.
  • Monitor and receive product purchases from the IDP team.
  • Run occasional errands or support events during mid and night shifts, with flexibility to rotate shifts as needed.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to apply company branding guidelines effectively
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel for data tracking and management
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and data privacy
  • Always demonstrates compassionate and inclusive communication
