We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This position will be site-based in Dublin. The Mechanical Engineer will oversee technical project delivery including coordinating with other disciplines to deliver a complete integrated solution.
The mechanical Engineer will report directly with the Mechanical lead and Mechanical Construction Manager
Responsibilities
- Manage relevant client communications
- Attend client meetings
- Lead a team of Package managers.
- Oversee the Technical submittal and RFI process
- Develop and review commissioning scripts for Mechanical assets and systems
- Coordinate work with Mechanical, Electrical and CSA contractors to ensure services fit together
- Prepare method statements and risk assessments for construction activities
- Communicate with project team to sequence installation of pipework to meet scheduled dates
- Assist with the management of the project installation works to ensure a consistent high standard of site works and manage the programme through to final commissioning and handover
- Assist with documenting and costing of changes to the work scopes and preparation of the monthly valuations and final account
- Drive O&M Completion and gathering documentation from vendors
Requirements
- Proven experience in large-scale construction projects (data centre, industrial, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical environments desirable)
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or similar
- Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project
