The role

The purpose of the Senior Marketing Manager, Rest of World (ROW) is to develop a world-class global marketing operation that can scale our customer base to maximise profitable commercial growth. The role will lead and execute a brand-led marketing strategy across Paid, Owned, and Earned media channels to drive awareness, engagement, and consideration targeted at an international B2C and B2B audience and play a strategic role in planning for Rest of World.
This role is responsible for developing content and campaigns that reinforce our brand positioning and ensuring seamless execution of non-acquisition marketing initiatives.

The successful candidate will lead a global marketing team, work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders and establish standards and guidelines with an aim to deliver returns on marketing spend.

You’ll help us make health happen by

  • The role runs across a wide ROW geography demanding a flexible approach to work. There will be a need to work outside usual business hours and the ability to meet tight deadlines is crucial.
  • Capable of working on own initiative under pressure or heavy workloads incorporating flexible hours with an ability to address changing priorities and demands across the business.
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding planning and organisational abilities
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a positive attitude with the ability to work on own or within a team.
  • As a team leader the role will be responsible for the day-to-day activities, guidance and motivation of their team members, set targets, implement SOPs, coach and mentor their direct reports.
  • The jobholder will be working across various IT and CRM systems and working practices as part of a growing organisation.
  • The role requires interaction with several countries across the world so the role will require some travel.
  • The job holder must consider and abide by the business Data Protection Act and the guidelines, regulations and standards set out by applicable regulatory requirements at all times. Abide by Health & Safety guidelines

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role

  • Proven senior experience in B2B and B2C brand marketing, integrated campaigns, and non-acquisition marketing in a multinational or regional capacity
  • Track record of marketing budgets in excess of c.£3M.
  • Experience in building a global marketing structure across advertising, events, PR, Social and Digital.
  • Strong understanding of Paid, Owned, and Earned media strategies, with experience in media planning and execution.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English with the ability to present at executive leadership level and inspire a team.
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience with CRM, advertising and analytics platforms.
  • Good knowledge of MarTech solutions
  • Ability to analyse data from advertising campaigns to ensure conversion rate optimisations and returns on investment.
  • Experience in managing agencies for creative and media strategy, planning and buying.
  • Experience of managing a copy clearance process in a regulated industry; specific experience in healthcare, or insurance will be highly advantageous.
  • Advanced PC skills, including Acrobat, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Strong collaboration skills working seamlessly with diverse teams globally.
  • Knowledge of International Private Medical Insurance is advantageous.
