This job leads complex projects requiring an understanding of current business trends in payment partnerships. They participate in problem resolution, providing functional expertise to enhance strategies. This job involves developing relationships with key external stakeholders and identifying opportunities for global process improvements, ensuring effective execution of partnership strategies through collaboration with internal teams.

Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee tactical plans to execute the payment partnership strategy effectively.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with mid-to-senior-level stakeholders at partner organizations.
  • Negotiate agreements that align with strategic goals and deliver value to both parties.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, legal) to implement partnership initiatives.
  • Monitor partnership performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration to enhance product offerings and market reach.
  • Respond proactively to changes in industry regulations and competitive trends.
  • Drive partnership goals and progress to internal stakeholders.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing between internal teams and external partners to drive innovation.
  • Support the Director in shaping long-term strategies and preparing for executive-level discussions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

Overview 

The Senior Manager, Network Advisory is responsible for network advisory, with a primary focus on network bulletins, network compliance, and policy interpretation. This role ensures the organization remains compliant with card network rules and proactively manages network-driven changes that impact products, operations, and partners. 

Essential Responsibilities 

  • Lead strategic oversight for network bulletins, rule changes, and compliance initiatives. 

  • Own the end-to-end process for reviewing, interpreting, and communicating card network bulletins and mandates across Europe. 

  • Establish and maintain a consistent framework for network compliance, including governance, controls, and risk assessment. 

  • Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to assess network requirements and drive timely implementation. 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for network compliance matters, escalations, and interpretations. 

  • Oversee impact assessments for new and changing network rules, ensuring clear guidance, documentation, and accountability. 

  • Drive alignment between network requirements and internal policies, standards, and operating procedures. 

  • Monitor compliance metrics, trends, and emerging risks, and report status to executive leadership. 

  • Represent the organization in network discussions, forums, and audits as needed. 

Expected Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Preferred Qualification: 

  • Experience of managing global partnerships and delivering results in a complex, fast-paced environment. 

  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills. 

  • Deep knowledge of card network rules, bulletins, and compliance frameworks. 

  • Ability to interpret regulatory and network requirements and translate them into practical guidance 

  • Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a focus on long-term partnership success. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working in cross-functional teams. 

  • Experience operating in large, matrixed organizations with multiple product lines. 

  • Possesses strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional projects, effectively communicating and collaborating with various stakeholders ranging from product, engineers, business partners, legal, and executive leadership at all organizational levels.
