The Senior Legal Counsel will handle commercial contracts, provide legal advice on various laws, manage pre-litigation disputes, and ensure compliance with regulations for FREENOW across Europe.
Location: London, Dublin or Barcelona
We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to be part of the international legal department of FREENOW and be dedicated to our business across Europe.
You will work in a fast-paced, international and dynamic company and take care of all legal questions related to our super mobility app!
YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:- Drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts including sponsorships, service agreements, partnerships and GTCs, among others.
- Advising on legal and commercial aspects of marketing campaigns, raffles and content initiatives.
- Providing legal advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of matters ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, including transportation laws, competition law, consumer laws and intellectual property.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to assess the impact of new laws and regulations on the company’s operations.
- Advising sales, marketing, tech and product teams on the legal feasibility of new features and products.
- Handle pre-litigation disputes and coordinate external counsel in litigation procedures. Assess legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential claims.
- You are qualified to practise law in the United Kingdom. Qualification in Ireland is a plus.
- 4+ years post qualification experience. Preferably a mix of law firm and in-house experience, although we will consider private practice lawyers who have demonstrable client exposure.
- You possess exceptional skills in project management and have experience in providing guidance and communicating to key stakeholders at all levels.
- You have the capacity to work autonomously and diligently in a fast-paced environment.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and are able to maintain composure and effectively handle multiple tasks while under pressure. Responding swiftly, thinking quickly, and making prompt decisions in a rapidly evolving and dynamic setting.
- You possess a natural curiosity and a strong desire for continuous learning.
- You are also willing to dive into any task at hand and enthusiastically take on new challenges.
