Where we work
Udemy is a global company headquartered in San Francisco, with additional U.S. offices in Denver and Austin, and international hubs in Australia, India, Ireland, Mexico, and Türkiye. This is an in-office position, requiring three days a week in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.
About your Skills:
Cross-functional Collaboration: Identifies the reasons for the partnership, negotiates timelines and deliverables, planning and coordinating the execution across multiple stakeholders.
Needs Analysis: Ability to conduct stakeholder interviews, assess skill gaps, and translate business requirements into actionable learning strategies that allow the organization to achieve its goals
Program Management and Coordination: Coordinating and overseeing multiple related projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals and improve overall performance
Learning Solution Design: Creating, building, and delivering engaging learning materials and experiences based on science, including leveraging skill taxonomies, content libraries and programmatic templates
Facilitation Skills: Strong presentation and facilitation abilities to engage learners in virtual and in-person environments
Growth Mindset & AI: Curiosity and eagerness to learn new technologies like AI staying current with trends in learning innovation
Global Mindset: Ability to balance consistency across global teams while respecting regional differences and functional specializations

About the Role:
You will serve as a learning consultant who connects business needs with Udemy’s learning ecosystem. Working collaboratively on learning projects, you’ll lead the delivery of development solutions that drive both individual growth and organizational success across our global teams. Our business moves fast, and you equip them at the pace they need.
What You’ll be Doing
Working with teams to identify needs: Conduct learning needs assessments by partnering with functional leaders, teams and people partners to identify skill gaps and development opportunities
Creating tailored learning solutions: Leverage the Learning team’s portfolio of solutions and Udemy’s extensive course library and platform capabilities to curate experiences that align with organizational and functional needs
Providing global programmatic support: Coordinate learning initiatives that maintain consistency across regions while adapting to local functional needs. You will move fast to deliver solutions to internal stakeholder.
Connecting learning with business impact: Design measurement into your solutions from the start by tracking metrics that matter that tie back to business strategy
Measuring impact: You will work with the L&OD to design skills-uplift solutions so we can create a future-ready-workforce.
What you’ll have
While this work is based more on the skills a person has, than what they have done, we think a typical profile could include the following:
7+ years of experience in learning and development, organizational development or related consulting roles
Demonstrated experience in conducting needs analyses and translating business requirements into learning solutions
Familiarity with online learning platforms and content curation (Udemy experience preferred)
Understanding of adult learning principles and learning experience design
Ability to design skills-uplift solutions and measure impact quickly
Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to work across different functions and organizational levels
Experience supporting global or multi-regional learning initiatives
