We are looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to help build next generation public library engagement suite. This is an amazing opportunity to work on our Vega Product Suite. This position will report to the team lead for the team.

2+ years of experience in Node, React or Angular

1+ years’ experience with API development

Strong English language verbal and written skills, to collaborate with cross-functional teams

What will you be doing in this role?

Senior Software Engineer is responsible for guiding development practices, team building, and developing software in a collaborative environment employing Agile development methodologies and helping design and build our entire user experience.

Contribute materially to team efforts to design, build, test, and support new and existing applications in an agile environment.

Assist team efforts with the identification, design, and implementation of solutions for new features and software defects.

Produces high-quality and on-time deliverables according to planned project goals.

Mentor less experienced team members

Recommend additions and enhancements to project architecture and technology selection and best practice discussions and related decisions
Product you will be developing
The Vega project is a very forward-thinking engagement and customer relations suite of tools for public libraries, to help library administrators reach out to and involve both their patrons and their communities in with more directed and personalized interactions. Vega is an AWS based SaaS multi-tenant platform, with multiple cross functional components which combine to deliver a unified, connected data experience across a library’s internal and marketing data, to a customer interaction management suite that is available for use by public libraries worldwide!
About the team
This will be a new team of 9 highly skilled engineers and 3 QA, based in Belgrade and US. The project assignment will be working on the Vega Discover experience for our Engineering and Project Stakeholders. The team will report to a US-based Manager for guidance and tasking.

Hours of Work
This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone.
This is a hybrid position, you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
