We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement automated testing solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software products. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with test automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and a deep understanding of software testing best practices. You should also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts.
- Identify and prioritise test cases for automation.
- Develop and execute automated test plans and cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- At least 5 years of experience in automated software testing.
- Strong knowledge of modern automation frameworks and tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Pytest.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of software testing best practices and methodologies.
- Good knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar.
- Experience with API testing, including tools and techniques for validating RESTful APIs.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Good written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English.
